Expert Speakers Prof. Gianluca Gambarini, DMD Professor and Head of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry at La Sapienza University of Rome, he also directs the university’s Master in Endodontics program. An internationally recognized lecturer and researcher, he has authored more than 500 scientific publications and delivered presentations around the world. Currently serving as President of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), he also maintains a private practice limited to endodontics in Rome, Italy. Biraj Patel, DMD, ABE Dr. Patel completed his specialist training in endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned both his certificate and master’s degree. Actively contributing to the field, he serves as a reviewer for several journals and sits on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics. He also holds an adjunct professor position in the Department of Endodontics at UTHSCSA, where he is involved in training future endodontists. In addition, he lectures internationally on endodontic topics. Milton Davenport, DMD Dr. Davenport is an endodontist based in River Forest, Illinois. He earned his DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed a Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Davenport has published research and authored multiple professional dental articles, contributing to the advancement of endodontic education and clinical practice. He founded and led Advanced Endodontics of Chicago for nearly 15 years, building a successful multi-location specialty practice grounded in extensive real-world clinical experience. Parsa Shahidi, DMD Dr. Shahidi is a biomedical engineer and endodontics resident at Harvard. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of DentiScope AI, a company advancing autonomous AI dental assessments. A patent-holding inventor, award-winning scholar, and former CEO, he bridges dental medicine, health technology, and artificial intelligence, with his research focused on AI-driven computer vision applications in endodontics. The discussion will focus on the clinical implications of enhanced flexibility, reduced shape memory (minimized bounce-back), an optimized non-cutting tip design, increased resistance to cyclic fatigue, and improved rotational stability.
